Moran Iron Works celebrates 40th anniversary

Moran Iron Works (MIW) will commemorate its 40th Anniversary with an open house celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, September 28 at MIW headquarters located at 11739 M-68/33 Highway in Onaway, Michigan 49765.

The celebration will include tours of the fabrication facility, The Industrial Arts Institute – our local welding trade school, and Awakon Park – a historical perspective on early 20th Century industry filled with metal sculpture crafted by Thomas Moran, CEO and Founder. Additionally, a picnic luncheon will be provided, along with a prize raffle featuring a metal creation by Thomas Moran as the Grand Prize.
