Great Lakes iron ore trade down 22 percent in January

Shipments of iron ore on the Great Lakes/St. Lawrence Seaway totaled 2,158,254 tons in January, a decrease of 22 percent compared to a year ago. Loadings at U.S. ports were down 21 percent.
