Great Lakes/Seaway Review planning special anniversary edition

Great Lakes/Seaway Review is turning 50 years old. The magazine exists to provide reliable information and analysis for all Great Lakes/St. Lawrence Seaway system users while also educating the masses on the natural form of transportation flowing through their back yards.

As a trade magazine, we have long been advocates for the system and its stakeholders. Great Lakes/Seaway Review was founded at the time of the Seaway’s 10th anniversary, when original Publisher, Jacques LesStrang, saw the need for such as tool.

Today, 50 years later, we continue to stay true to that vision, providing responsible, fact-based coverage to inform, develop and even persuade. Rather than focus on “spin,” we present facts, people, innovations and opportunities for business development and environmental refinements.

While we celebrate our golden anniversary, the Seaway and some of the industry’s supportive organizations are turning 60. Whether 10 or 100, we welcome you to contact our Editor, Janenne Irene Pung, at to discuss editorial inclusion in the special summer edition. As always, Great Lakes/Seaway Review isn’t about us. It’s about the system, our readers, friends and supporters.
