President’s budget requests for Coast Guard and maritime agencies focus of hearing

The Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation, chaired by Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA), will hold a hearing Wednesday to examine the Fiscal Year 2017 budget requests for the U.S. Coast Guard, the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) and the U.S. Maritime Administration.

The subcommittee hearing, entitled “President’s Fiscal Year 2017 Budget Request for the Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Programs,” is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 15 in the Rayburn House Office Building.
