Subject: Marketing Passenger Cruising in the Great Lakes St. Lawrence System

For years we have considered producing a print and digital publication to market the Great Lakes/St. Lawrence Seaway System as a passenger cruising destination. We have heard of the need for such a piece from many of our colleagues and have decided to get to work to have Explore the Freshwater Seas available for SeaTrade and other marketing opportunities.

Cruise planners say the Great Lakes/St. Lawrence region is “an itinerary planner’s dream.” We know this and want to share it to bring more cruise lines into the system. With your partnership we will be able to make it happen.

Explore the Freshwater Seas is a comprehensive print, interactive digital and mobile publication the entire system will use to educate and promote the abundant cruising opportunities to prospective cruise operators worldwide. This will provide those marketing passenger cruising in the system with the marketing tool we have always needed and provide a “leave behind” when we meet with prospects and while at SeaTrade. The content will answer the precise questions that we are asked, in a compelling and beautiful way.

Please consider partnering with us to produce Explore the Freshwater Seas. For a one-time rate of $950 you will receive acknowledgment in the publication, a link to your website and, if you wish, provide a video of your destination to be included in the digital editions. Print and digital editions of Explore the Freshwater Seas will also be provided to you for use in your marketing. This will be a pure piece, with no advertising, for a dramatic and dynamic presentation of what the Great Lakes/St. Lawrence Seaway region has to offer.

The region offers up to 150 individual shore excursions between the Port of Montreal and the Port of Chicago, including all points in between. Few regions on earth can surpass what the Great Lakes/St. Lawrence Seaway region offers in diversity and quality of experience.

You know Harbor House Publishers as long-time advocates of the Great Lakes/St. Lawrence Seaway System, publishing Great Lakes/Seaway Review Magazine, the Great Lakes St. Lawrence System Directory, Digital Dateline and many other regional business and tourism directories and visitors guides. Candi Wynn, Account Executive for Harbor House Publishers, will be in touch with you soon to answer any questions you might have. Please feel free to give Candi a call at (800) 491-1760 or go to harborhouse.com/passengercruising.

Together we will produce the publication we have needed to market the system to passenger cruise operators from around the world.
